Building Leaders Through Martial Arts
We offer two free programs for DC youth ages 6-18, building confidence, discipline, and community through kung fu, lion dance, dragon dance, and drumming.
Made possible through generous funding from our partners. Students also participate in gala events and educational excursions to historical landmarks and museums.
Out-of-School Time (OST)
After school and Saturday sessions featuring kung fu, lion dance, dragon dance, and drumming. Fosters discipline, teamwork, and cultural pride in a supportive environment.
- Sessions: September 2026 – May 2027
- Wednesdays & Thursdays: 4:15 – 6:15 PM
- Saturdays: 12:00 – 4:00 PM
Enrollment is open year-round.
Summer Camp
Our summer camp program provides DC youth the opportunity to deepen their skills in kung fu, lion dance, dragon dance, and drumming while building lasting friendships, participating in field trips, and learning new skills, including computer science and Mandarin language.
- Dates: June 22 – July 24, 2026
- Days: Mondays – Fridays
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

How to Enroll
Complete all 3 forms and pay the $50 registration fee. Enrollment makes your child eligible for both the OST and Summer Camp programs. You'll receive signed copies and can begin classes immediately.
For the registration fee: Zeffy charges us $0 in fees to process this payment, but they will ask for an optional tip at checkout to keep their platform running for nonprofits. You're welcome to change this tip amount to 'Other' and enter $0 if you prefer.
